Fishing & Aquaculture Ropes
What are Fishing & Aquaculture Ropes?
Fishing and Aquaculture ropes are highly specialized polymer ropes designed specifically to endure the most corrosive and challenging marine environments. Primarily made from high-tenacity HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) monofilament and Danline yarns, these ropes are entirely immune to salt water, marine rot, and mildew.
As a leading HDPE rope manufacturer, UTS CORDEX LLP engineers these ropes to have a specific gravity lower than 1, meaning they float perfectly on the water's surface. With extreme UV stabilization and incredible knot-holding ability, they are the trusted choice for commercial fisheries and modern aquaculture farms worldwide.

Where is it Used?
Built for the open ocean and inland fisheries, our marine ropes are used for:
Trawl & Gill Nets
Providing the structural backbone for deep-sea commercial fishing nets and crab traps.
Fish Farming Cages
Constructing and securing the perimeter grids of offshore and inland aquaculture cages.
Buoy Lines & Floats
Tethering surface marker buoys and float lines due to the rope's natural buoyancy.
Built for Performance.
Engineered to Last.
Designed to deliver dependable performance across demanding applications.

How is it Made?
At UTS CORDEX LLP, our aquaculture ropes are extruded from 100% virgin High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pellets. The extrusion process carefully aligns the polymer chains to form high-tenacity monofilament yarns, which are then passed through hot water baths and ovens to maximize their linear strength.
Twisting & Quality Control: These monofilaments are then precision-twisted into 3-strand or 4-strand ropes on modern ring twisters. Every batch is rigorously tested for denier consistency, breaking strength, and UV resistance, ensuring that a fishing net rigged with UTS CORDEX LLP rope will outlast multiple fishing seasons.
